How to make gol gappay at home (Ayesha's cuisine)

Ingredients

For dough

All purpose flour  1 cup
Semolina     1 cup
Salt 1 teaspoon
Luke warm water as required

Method

. In a big bowl add semolina, flour and salt.

. Mix it well.

. Knead hard with luke warm water and rest it for 20 minutes.

. After 20 minutes make a thin roti and cut circles for gol gappay.

. In a pan deep fry them on medium to high flame and splash oil on them so they cal blow like baloon.

For  pani

Temarind soaked in water
Salt to taste
Ajwaein 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper powder1/2 teaspoon
Zeera powder 1/2 teaspoon
Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon

Method

.take out the seeds of temarind and add 1 glass of water in it.

. Now add in a pan to give it a boil.

. Add all the above ingredients and give a nice boil.

. When gets boil strain it and chill it well.

Assembling
Ingredients
Boiled potatoes chopped
Boiled chikpeas
Chopped onion
Green coriander
Green chutni
Apricot sauce (you can see the video I made about it)

Method

. Pop the puri in centre add potatoes, onions, coriander, chutni, chikpeas and apricot sauce.

. Now serve it with the chilled temarind water.
